Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel. 2. (Dinner)
1. Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive downstream along the Indus River on the Leh – Kargil Highway. Commence your sightseeing with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a museum constructed by the Indian Army, showcasing significant contributions and sacrifices. Proceed to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, situated at an altitude of 3600 meters, about 22 kilometers from Leh, constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. 2. Next on the itinerary is the intriguing Magnetic Hill, known for defying the law of gravity. Continuing the journey, just before Nimmu Village, witness the famous Confluence of Two Rivers - the Indus River originating from Tibet (left) and the Zanskar River from Zanskar Valley (right). 3. Following the river confluence, head to Alchi Gompa, a complex of temples within the village that dates back to the 11th century and is among Ladakh’s most celebrated monasteries. After exploring Alchi, return to Leh, making a stop at Likir Monastery, built in the 11th century and later reconstructed in the 18th century. The monastery houses a remarkable 25-feet gold-covered Buddha Statue. Finally, drive back to Leh, where you will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel. 4. (Breakfast and Dinner)
1. Following breakfast, we set out on a picturesque drive to Nubra Valley. The road traverses Khardung La, standing at an impressive altitude of 5,602 meters (18,390 feet), marking it as the second-highest motorable road globally, approximately 39 kilometers from Leh. From this vantage point, one can gaze southward over the Indus valley, capturing breathtaking views of the seemingly infinite peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range. To the north, the giants of the Saser massif dominate the landscape. 2. Nubra Valley, also known as Ldumra or the Valley of Flowers, is nestled in the north of Ladakh, nestled between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley reaches 10,000 feet above sea level. Upon reaching Nubra, we check in at our Camp or Hotel in Hunder for an overnight stay. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll through the quaint villages, providing an opportunity to witness and appreciate the local way of life in this captivating region. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Camp or Hotel. 3.(Breakfast and Dinner)
